In this series on practical ecclesiology, the study of the church, Steve will examine over a dozen real-life scenarios in 1 Timothy 4-6 concerning the functioning of a faithful church. Like the faithful servants of the parable of the sower who heard their master tell them, "Well done, good and faithful servant," the local church also should be mindful of pleasing her Master, the Head of the Church, Jesus Christ. In this series, Steve will deal with practical scenarios such as understanding the gospel, leading by example, purifying the church, evaluating the leadership, and fighting the good fight. This will challenge every individual believer in the church to greater excellence in their personal and church-wide walks with Christ.
