Sometimes unbelievers and frankly even Christians on occasion will struggle with the question, what gives God the right to judge, specifically, what gives Jesus the right to judge? Well first of all, Jesus has the right to judge because God the Father gave him the right to judge. The gospel of John tells us that Jesus proclaimed this, that God the Father has given him all judgment, all judgment has been given to Christ. But to ask the question, does, why does Jesus have the right to judge me is really irrelevant. He's going to. Whether you think he has the right to or not, Jesus is the judge, and you as a human being have one of two choices. You may rebel against God, push back, and Jesus will be your judge, or you may request mercy, you may humbly ask for the kindness and the grace of God, and Christ will be your savior.
